Temperature had no effect on arousal levels, but lower volume settings led to higher arousal levels than higher ones. In addition, participants who listened to music they liked were less aroused than those who didn't. These findings suggest that there is an optimal range for each parameter within which drivers feel most comfortable and open to intimacy.

Sports cars are often associated with speed, power, and excitement; sedans tend to symbolize luxury and sophistication; SUVs convey strength and practicality; pickup trucks signify masculinity and toughness.
