Introduction to Psychology

Psychology is the study of human behavior, mental processes, and the way that people think and feel. It includes understanding how these things affect human development, perception, memory, language, learning, motivation, emotions, cognition, and personality. The term "psychology" comes from the Greek word "psyche," which means mind or soul, and the Greek word "logos," which means knowledge or science. So psychology literally means "the science of the mind."
