The automotive industry is known to use sex appeal to sell cars, which can be seen in many ads featuring attractive women or men who have just purchased a particular model. Cars have been linked to sexuality since ancient times when they were first invented. In Greek mythology, Eros was the god of love and lust; he rode a chariot drawn by doves. He is depicted as a winged figure who uses arrows to pierce his victims' hearts. Today, many people associate cars with speed, power, and freedom, which can be related to sexuality.
