The psychology behind sexy cars

When you get into a car, there are many factors that affect your mood and behavior - from how comfortable the seat is to the way the engine sounds. One study found that women who drove cars with "masculine" features (such as sharp angles) reported higher levels of sexual desire than those who drove cars with more feminine features (rounder shapes).

People who own luxury vehicles tend to be seen as more confident and successful, while those who choose smaller, more fuel-efficient cars might be perceived as environmentally conscious. These perceptions can affect how attractive we find potential partners - studies show that both men and women are more likely to find someone attractive if they own a certain type of car.
